We are seeking to appoint a Laboratory Technician to join an active and dynamic technical team in the Department of Applied Sciences, within the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences. 

You will be responsible for preparing classes, supporting students and supporting equipment. for numerous degree programs. You will also be required to support occasional field trips, including week long residential trips within the UK and overseas. 

You will have:

• a strong practical environmental chemistry and general chemistry background
• excellent communication skills
• excellent planning and organisational skills.
