Software Engineer with Systems Admin experience - Java / C# or C++ - GBP40,000 + benefits - Cheltenham
A cutting edge software company has several opportunities for experienced Software Developers with skills in either Java, C++ or C# coupled with SysAdmin knowledge to join their team developing complex software for security solutions. The role is based in their newly refurbished offices in Cheltenham, with easy access to good transport links and offers a starting salary of up to GBP40,000 + excellent benefits.
The employer are part of a hugely successful, international software company with offices across Europe and the US. Due to growth within their client portfolio they are now seeking Software Developer / Systems Engineers who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues across internal systems and a broad range of technologies.
The successful candidate will have solid relevant work experience, strong coding abilities in at least one high level language preferably Java, C++ and/or C#, coupled with experience of working with relational databases and RESTful APIs. Any additional skills in Python, ElasticSearch or Virtualisation tools would all be highly beneficial but not essential as relevant cross-training will be provided. Above all a thirst for learning new skills and passion for emerging technologies will be considerred over any missing skills listed.
