Information Systems Consultant
My client is a global Engineering company that has always been renowned for its innovative engineering. Providing global services to the Defence, Security, Aerospace, Transport and Power & Energy markets.
They are looking to recruit an "Information Systems Consultant" to help with the development and current operations of the Cyber Security and Information Systems division; You will be joining this growing team and you'll work on exciting projects in the UK and worldwide. The Information Systems and Cyber/ Security sector is a successful and rapidly growing part of the business which has developed significantly in terms of footprint and capability over the last 12 months. Your efforts will help drive this success though delivering high quality technical advice and systems based problem-solving.
Requirements
There will be a number of opportunities across a range of business and technology themes which require individuals with skills in one or more of:
*Technical Strategy and Architecture
*Business Change
*Requirements definition
*Systems Design
*Data Analysis and Modelling
*Service Strategy and Transition
You will ideally have Systems Engineering experience or similar background and will have applied these skills while working for a consultancy, services provider or systems integrator provided they operate within one or more of our key markets. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate good customer relationship management skills.
You will have a good degree in a science, computing or engineering subject. Membership of a relevant professional body would be advantageous. Successful candidates will need some experience or aptitude for leading or contributing to bids and tenders and ideally have an understanding of project management in a commercial environment. Roles in the Security sector require at least 10 years of UK residency and experience of working within a secure environment.
There will be opportunities at all levels for ambitious candidates who have a real desire to take their career forward as well as forming the future development of this growing team.

Salary:up to GBP50k + Benefits
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level
