An MI Analyst is required by a global investment bank to sit within the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) department and provide regional specific Management Information (MI) and reporting for senior management. The role is available at either Associate or AVP level and no previous banking experience is required.
Key responsibilities of the role include
-Contributing to the creation of regional management reports
-Creating regular AFC MI reports to United Kingdom and Ireland regional management, governance forums and committees/owning and consolidating the monthly United Kingdom and Ireland MI report and tracking input and data providers ensuring timely delivery and quality of reports
-Aggregating and harmonising different data sources and ensuring quality standards and checking plausibility and challenging data interpretation/ conducting data analysis, trending and variance analysis on the regional data set
-Improving the existing reporting structure and contributing to the global initiatives
-Suggesting improvements to MI to better reflect AFC risk and performance measurement and finding ways to standardise and optimise reporting to improve regional coverage and global alignment
-Contributing to the quality of reports by aligning to global standards and ensuring adherence to regional requirements
-Collaborating with various stakeholders improving MI and processes
-Identifying relevant data sources, connecting with the data owners and supporting meaningful data usage
You will be an experienced MI Analyst with a good understanding of data and excellent analytical skills (including a good working knowledge of MS Excel). You wil need to be creative in the ways data can be presented and also enjoy presenting your findings to senior management. No previous banking experience is required. Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills are essential
