Description Principal Software Engineer needed to join one of the south-west's most exciting teams at their Bristol offices working on a unique product with 1m+ users worldwide. What experience you'll need We're looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer with a background in developing software-as-a-service products. In terms of tech they have a Java backend built on Google Appengine supported by Google Cloud infrastructure and other 3rd party services like Stripe and Intercom. As a leading member of the dev team you'll be happy to work on the full tech stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Gradle, Swift, Android, Cordova) applying best practices across the board. You'll play a key role in the overall success of the business and your views on tech, quality and usability will be encouraged and you'll have the autonomy to experiment and make a real difference.
What you'll be doing You'll be working within a small team in a fast-paced, agile, down-to-earth, entrepreneurial environment developing and implementing solutions in line with business needs. You'll be coming on board to build amazing end-to-end products whilst applying your best engineering skills - the only way to go fast is to go well!
