Senior Consultant - Cyber & ICT: A major Defence engineering company are looking to secure the services of a Project Management Senior Consultant - Cyber at their site in Bristol.
Senior Consultant - Cyber & ICT Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the delivery of cyber system or ICT delivery programmes, ensuring that the delivery is pragmatic and meets the requirements of clients.
* Engage directly with the client and other stakeholders to support the clarification or shaping of needs, definition of requirements and priorities, identification of options and development of solutions.
* Have the ability to analyse and understand client requirements and expectations and advise of priorities to meet the needs of the delivery.
* Ensure that the client and other stakeholders stay informed of progress and aware of the choices available to them throughout the lifecycle and is delivering the expected business benefits.
* Anticipate and manage risks and issues and provide the relevant mitigations.
* Conform to all business process, standards and guidelines for P3M delivery as appropriate
* Articulate the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or nontechnical.
* Advise on the available standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to own specialism and can make appropriate choices from alternatives. Analyse, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets.
* Maintain an awareness of developments in P3M and advise on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the client
* Be adept in finding solutions to complex problems, engaging required stakeholders to obtain an overview of different perceptions, solution scenarios and options, and to receive respective input or buy in.
* Uses appropriate tools for the development of ICT programme delivery plans in specific business or functional areas.
Senior Consultant - Cyber & ICT Key Requirement:
* Experience in the delivery of multi GBPm cyber defence or ICT system programmes.
* Experience of analysing and improving complex services through technologically inspired change.
* Experience of delivering consultancy services across ICT, Cyber or Information security.
* Experience of managing work in a matrix environment.
* Experience of managing and motivating staff of various levels of experience to improve performance.
* Experience of achieving successful outcomes through negotiation and persuasion.
* Degree educated in an ICT, Science, Maths or Engineering subject;
* Qualifications that include two or more of the following: APMP, PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Agile PM, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3;
* Experience of providing client side consultancy in P3M
* Experience of building customer relations, flexibility in working hours and locations, adaptability to changing schedules, reliability and quality of task delivery team player, upskilling client resources and informal knowledge transfer.
* The ability to demonstrate the determination and drive that will be required to deliver a challenging role
* Must be Security Cleared!!!!!!!!
* Willing to be cleared to DV!!!!!!!!
Desirable Skills:
* MOD Acquisition Processes familiarity procurement lifecycle, military capability definition documentation standards
* Experience of working in the public and private sectors;
* Experienced in managing services and/or relationships in a many-to-many client provider environment;
* Cyber security qualifications such as CCP or CISM
