The Requirements Join us as Head of Digital Transformation in Bristol Building a brand new team in Commercial & Private Banking (CPB), you'll provide leadership to the Technology unit while also taking responsibility for delivery and business engagements in support of the CPB franchise's digital transformation agenda You'll develop, manage, maintain and support the CPB Digital Transformation Technology platform and roadmap for the customer facing digital channels This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery execution for transformation and continuous improvement projects, as you'll act as the single point of technology contact for the Digital Services function within CPB and be at the forefront, delivering the highest priority of the Commercial Banking business Managing technology finances, both direct and indirect, you'll drive initiatives and governance forums to ensure control over allowed spendWhat you'll doAs Head of Digital Transformation, you'll provide leadership and support the alignment of technology to partners in COO Service Technology and COA organisations. You'll align business unit strategy with technology strategy and platform roadmap, and hold responsibility for the efficient delivery of business engagement for the transformation agenda.Through the course of your work, and sitting at the CPB Technology Leadership team, you'll help shape the organisation's agenda on customer focus, simplifying the organisation, staff development, and risk and control. You'll create and maintain a strategic change establishment model with the appropriate capability and capacity to deliver the change agenda - and you'll manage resourcing for the change delivery accordingly.Your responsibilities will also include: Aligning priorities to CPB Services' 2017-2020 Masterplan, and executing and delivering within the framework of the bank's Design and Technology Practice on reference architecture, common infrastructure and services Complying with all RBS policies, and helping deliver against regulatory and legal obligations Managing stakeholder relationships - sharing technology insights, participating in solutions and strategy development and day to day needs through technology Accountability for ensuring delivery against the financial plan and budget Managing and supervising technology, and conduct related risks within agreed frameworks and risk appetitesThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience of having managed complex systems and technologies in a scale business. As a proven people leader, you'll be able to engage with colleagues across disciplines and organisations, and leverage capability across multiple teams effectively. Building the technical delivery team, you'll ensure the capabilities and delivery framework are in place for a highly productive and sustainable delivery pace.With an MBA, or equivalent, and substantial experience in leading large scale change at a senior level, you'll bring a track record of end to end delivery and an excellent understanding of Risk and Controls.
