Online Digital Marketing Assistant

We are a busy online School Supplier of junior art materials, we need an additional digital marketing assistant. The role is a chance to work and learn in a rapidly growing e-commerce craft supplies business with a self-motivated environment.

We handle all our content management, marketing, and graphical design in house, and operate a sophisticated multi-channel ecommerce system with thousands of product combinations. That means this role is an incredible opportunity to build experience on a host of platforms, in an exciting, growing field. The business is highly collaborative and supportive and keen to give substantial responsibility to the right person.

A Little About Us. We like our customers and it is important to us that they are treated well. We are a small team so there will be a lot of multi-tasking and supporting various functions within the business at any one time.

Role will involve:

Listing products online Working on different platforms such as: Shopify, Amazon, Magento and Ebay. Creating written content including blog posts and on site material Monitoring site performance and providing suggestions for improvement Improving our organic rankings by implementing on-site SEO practices Designing promotional campaigns Understanding both our customers and our competitors Encouraging engagement and raising brand awareness through social channels Digital Marketing Graphical design work The role will initially be offered as a 3 month probation period. Then a switch to permanent basis if the probation period works out. The Candidate should be within an easy commute of BN2 4QN

The successful candidate will:

Be highly computer literate Have post-secondary education Have interest in creativity Be customer focused, friendly, well spoken, neat and have a presentable appearance. Be able to demonstrate attention to detail and pride in their work Be flexible, confident, self-motivated team player and be able to cope with different work pressures Analytically minded and numerically skilled Experience with social media or email marketing a bonus Excellent communication skills

We are interested in a range of suitable skills and interests. This could include those with skills or backgrounds in graphical design, marketing, computer science, online retailing or sales, or similar areas. Being a small business, on occasions, when busy, operational work will need to be done. In light of this physically capable of working with various size objects will be required from time to time
