Client provides expert information governance consultancy services to a broad range of
organisations. Consulting services focus information management strategy and assessment with a significant element around GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance and information auditing. This role will focus on the provision of consultancy services in the field of information management. The Senior Analyst / Junior Consultant will build relationships internally and with clients, to work effectively in the organisation and execution of business projects according to clients’ requirements. The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency.
A significant proportion of the role will be client facing but you will also have the opportunity to become involved in researching and developing new service lines and products for Oyster IMS.

Duties:
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Pre-sales consultancy
Proposal writing
Data / system mapping
Business analysis
Analyse / interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes
Solution design
Formulate recommendations / solutions with attention to client requirements, capabilities and limitations
Report writing
Post-sales service and support
Building strong relationships internally, with clients and partners
Work collaboratively to identify ways to innovate and improve delivery and processes
Client interviews
Evaluating client workshop results
Creating and reviewing documentation
Running a project from start to end with senior oversight or support
Ability to work, at times with limited oversight or supervision
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism

Skills and Qualifications

Key skills required:
Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or something in a similar role – 4 to 6 years
Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
Ability to gather and translate project requirements into formal documentation • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask
Self-motivation
Ability to establish good working relationships and demonstrate enthusiasm for continual learning
Experience in carrying out audits and reviews, recommending systems or managing programmes of change

The candidate must be able to travel around the UK and Europe, as the work may require client site
visits, including short term or longer term work away from London.

Qualifications required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science – Desired but any degree will be acceptable if coupled with some experience
Certified Management Consultant is a plus
KEY SKILLS
proven experience in a similar role

Soid experience in a similar role - at least 3 years, 4-6 ideally
Degree educated
Either Auditing Analyst or IMS background
Ideally someone moving into their second Senior Analyst role
