Our company works in Satellite Communications Equipment Design and Development. Our team develops modems and other equipment to receive, process, analyse and send RF communications.
We are expanding our team and are seeking a technician to support the implementation and test of radio systems and sub-systems.

Our company works in Satellite Communications Equipment Design and Development. Our team develops modems and other equipment to receive, process, analyse and send RF communications.
We are expanding our team and are seeking a technician to support the implementation and test of radio systems and sub-systems.
Responsilbilites:
- Manage the R and D lab and its facilities, ensuring that all test equipment is maintained and calibrated.
- Assemble and test electronic circuit boards.
- Assemble and test sub-systems
- Supporting the work of development engineers using the lab
- Assemble, test and calibrate wiring harnesses
- Test high speed digital and RF boards and sub-assemblies produced in-house and by sub-contractors
- Liaise with external sub-contractors for production of small parts and enclosures etc.
- R and D lab work in a communications systems environment
- Assembly of RF and digital circuit boards and subsystems
- Assembly of wiring harnesses and subsequent test and calibration
- Use of modern lab test equipment such as Signals Analysers and Waveform Generators
- Calibration and setup of equipment
- Use of hand tools and small power tools
- Ability to gain UK Security Clearance
- Development of test reports and similar documents.
- Use and development of automated test systems.
- HNC/HND or equivalent.
