Our client is a leading independent mobile phone provider to UK Businesses. They represent the B2B market on behalf of the four major networks serving the SME and Corporate sectors. As a trusted support to businesses for 18 years they have consistently delivered savings of up to 60% on monthly bills for their clients.

Our client is now looking for a Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Position Overview

The role of the Receptionist is to answer and screen incoming telephone calls and distribute them to the relevant department. As first point of contact for our client's customers, you will demonstrate an excellent telephone manner and a calm and helpful nature. You will be confident in operating a telephone switchboard system. You will also be required to provide administrative support to the Connections and Customer Service teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering and screening incoming telephone calls
  • Distributing calls to the relevant departments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Managing the company answer machine inbox
  • Support other departments as and exec team as and when required
  • Process incoming post
  • Organise and maintain general office tasks - birthday cards, collections, weekly achievements
  • Meeting and greeting on site clients
  • Meeting room bookings and room preparation
  • Ad-hoc facilities tasks as and when required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Exceptional telephone manner with a welcoming personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be reliable
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Good problem solving and decision making ability
  • Natural ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and spoken English
