Brook Street is currently recruiting Meter Readers for the following postcode areas:
SY5 - SY8, SY10 -SY11 & SY20-SY22
Role & Responsibility
As a Metering Representatives you are responsible for collecting data from residential and commercial properties, on behalf of utility suppliers and other data collection clients across your designated area.
For these roles, we`re looking for people with the following key skills:
Competency in numeracy and literacy
The ability to work to timescales and under pressure
A flexible approach to tasks and working hours
Customer orientation
Smart and friendly with a professional approach to work
You will need your own vehicle, which must be covered by business insurance and access to a land line telephone that can be used on a daily basis to communicate information from a Hand Held Computer.
This role comes with a competitive hourly pay rate plus a mileage allowance of 0.35p per mile.
A uniform and Hand Held Computer (HHC) will be provided.
