Looking for a job that’s different? We need you to join us as a Welcome Ambassador in Croydon, London and earn £8.45 per hour working 7 days a week on a rolling 3-week roster in a job that takes you out of the office and into the heart of the community. This is a fixed term contract of 6 months with potential to extend.
We specialise in supplying Visitor Welcome Ambassadors to some of the UK's best-known destinations. We work with more than 25 business improvement districts (BIDs), from Exeter to Leeds and from Canterbury to Liverpool and are leaders in our field.
We're Investors in People accredited and have twice been finalists in the Visit England Awards for Excellence.
The role:
The role of a Visitor Welcome Ambassador is diverse and multi-faceted;
Please note these jobs are based outside and require a certain degree of Physical fitness. They also require a pro-active attitude and a liking for people is essential!

- One minute you could be giving directions to a lost tourist,
- the next you could be talking to a local business owner about the state of the pavement outside his business.
- You’re always working with people to help them in your community
- You will always be busy, making people happy and solving problems in XX
- personality,
- a love of customer service,
- a willingness to learn new skills and,
- common sense.
- Languages are a bonus but not essential other than good spoken
and written English.
