Full time: 35 Hours
4.5 year fixed term contract (54 months)

Waterloo Housing Group is a major social housing group providing almost 26,000 rented, shared ownership, retirement and leasehold homes across the East and West Midlands and Lincolnshire. We are also building an increasing number of affordable homes each year.
 
We are now offering a Degree Apprenticeship in which you will study, alongside full time employment, towards attaining a BSc Honours in Digital and Technology Solutions through Aston University.
 
Throughout the 4 ½ year programme, you will work within our ICT department and Learning and Development Team and act as a link between other parts of the business. You will be at the heart of exciting projects, fulfilling our vision of being ‘Digital by Default’ by 2020.
 
Undertaking analytical and investigative activities, to understand the needs of the business and the user, you will recommend and work with software providers to enable and ensure the optimum user experience. Your valued contribution will help ensure our systems are user friendly and assist in maintaining our status as one of the best affordable housing providers around.

The successful applicant will have three A-Levels - Grade C or above - and will be able to demonstrate a creative, analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Another important skill we are looking for is strong communication and the ability to deliver complex technical information in an accessible way to people of all levels. You will maintain an awareness of developing technologies and have an inquisitive mind with a gravitas for problem solving.
 
On occasion you will be required to travel to other office locations within the Group therefore a full driving licence is essential along with flexibility to work outside office hours as and when required.
