Our Public Sector client is seeking an experienced Administrator/Receptionist to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.
The role is based in Norwich and is on a temporary, full time basis. The rate of pay is £8.01 an hour, rising to £8.70 after a period of 12 weeks. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.
The role will ask you to deliver an effective and competent level of Reception/Admin support and to deliver a "client focused" service, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships.
The role will include, but will not be restricted to;
Acting as first point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a helpful manner.
Answering telephone queries, taking messages and passing on accurate information to the relevant places.
Ensuring the office supply levels are maintained.
Responsible for sorting of all incoming post and ensure distribution to the relevant departments, and to ensure that all out going post is documented. To send post recorded delivery when requested.
Ensure that all complaints, comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to line manager when appropriate.
Photocopying and word processing documents, letters, emails, minutes and reports when required. Post holder must have a standard level of keyboard skills and able to use Microsoft Office programmes.
The rate of pay is £8.01 an hour, rising to £8.70 after a period of 12 weeks. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administrative background and working with computerised systems, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
You will be required to be a clear communicator with good writing, data entry and telephone skills. You will be required to work on your own initiative, organising and prioritising your own workload set to deadlines.
