Location: Peterborough
Salary: Up to GBP30,000 depending on experience

My client based in Peterborough are looking for a Contract's Negotiator, with their experience of over 28 years offering affordable, personal and dedicated services to its customers. My clients greatest strength is their people - professional, driven yet grounded and fun to work with.

The Role:

We are looking for a Healthcare Facilities Co-Ordinator ideally from a medical insurance background, to negotiate and review contracts with our providers of service, e.g hospital facilities. The position will require building relationships with individual hospitals and facilities and supporting our sales team with data gathered from your contacts. As this role will be mainly field based you must be willing to travel and have a flexible working approach to managing your administration tasks. Your knowledge of the industry is therefore paramount as it is a great opportunity to apply your expertise to add value to this fast-growing business.

Main Responsibilities:

* Dealing with the costs of Medical services and ensure these are contained, negotiated and managed effectively
* Establishing contracts with medical service providers both through verbal, written and face to face communications
* Facilitate where possible the growth in the numbers of clients purchasing Healthcare services
* Play an active part in the shaping of new services offered by the company
* Effectively manage appointments and meetings to negotiate and build relationships with hospital contacts
* Keep abreast of industry changes and competitor's products
* Providing support in claims processing
* Undertaking training and keeping knowledge current
* Assist with various reporting tasks, administration, and projects, maintaining confidentiality at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

* Health care experience, with good knowledge of medical terminology and procedures including timings and costs
* Knowledge of the insurance industry including FCA guidelines
* Proven sales experience managing portfolio of customers, building relationships and managing expectations
* Excellent customer service skills and background
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload
* Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders with focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales.
* Strategic thinker, who can bring new ideas that can move quickly to execution.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Strong work ethic with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
