Sales & Marketing Assistant

This company is currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales & Marketing Assistant to support the UK operation. The company is an international material supplier of high end corrosion control solutions to the construction industry.

The successful candidate will report directly to the National sales Manager (NSM) and will be responsible for supporting day to day sales & marketing activities, including but not limited to;

- Managing the ACT! business database (Training will be provided)
- Building close relationships with key account companies
- Produce and execute marketing initiatives with the support of the NSM
- Provide daily support within the company and to its key distributors
- Handle basic inventory management and forecasting

The successful candidate will have experience in the specification sales process with a background in the construction industry an advantage but not critical. A systematic and orderly approach is essential with good time management. You will be comfortable using email, MS Word and MS Excel to an intermediate level and have excellent/proven communication skills and phone manner.
