JOB TITLE: Curtain and Blind Fitter
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP18,000 - GBP20,000 + Overtime
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week + Overtime
THE COMPANY: Based in Northampton, Volvina serves customers all over the UK.
Volvina is a family run company, proud of the personal service and high standards its clients
have come to expect. They have a wealth of experience since their establishment in 1977 and
manufacture high quality curtains, rails and blinds from their factory in Northampton.
THE ROLE: The role of the Curtain and Blind Fitter is to ensure products are fitted to a high standard, liaising with customers on site and getting the job done in a timely manner.
The work carried out varies from repair work to full installations for a number of clients across various sectors such as Universities, Hospitals, Schools and building contractors.
This role would suit either an experienced Curtain and Blind fitter or somebody with practical ability or experience in a hands on based role. Training will be provided for less experienced candidates from a team of fitters with over 25 years experience.
The fitting teams start work at 6:00am and work until the job is complete. Overtime is paid at time and half after 8 hours.
THE CANDIDATE: A successful candidate should have experience with hand held tools and a full driving licence. You will also need a CSCS card and happy to travel throughout the UK when required - travel time is paid.
You will be punctual and happy to travel when required.
Key experience essential for the role:
Previous experience using hand-held tools
Full UK Driving Licence
Valid CSCS Card
PASMA Certificate - desirable but not essential
Happy to start work at 6.00am
Happy to travel when required
Happy to work occasional Saturdays if required
Must live within NN1, NN2, NN2, NN3 , NN4 or NN5
