A leading manufacturer of polymer coatings is seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop business in SW England.
This is a home and field based role and applicants will ideally be based in the Bristol, Cheltenham, Stroud area.
Applicants, who will be graduates with a 2:1 Science based degree preferably in Chemistry/Material Science (Polymers), must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully sell technically advanced products through customer trials/ demonstrations, and operate effectively at all levels within the customers' structure. They are also required to provide technical support to the existing customer base.
A background of selling formulated chemical systems would be a distinct advantage or a candidate with experience in a technical role with some customer support who is now looking to move into technical sales.
The position offers an excellent base salary and the successful applicant will be expected to earn excellent additional commission based on an open ended scheme. Above all, the role offers the opportunity to work with a highly successful team. A company car together with the usual benefits is provided.
