Our client is a Volvo commercial dealership and the Northwest’s leading provider of commercial vehicle solutions offering the most efficient, the safest and the most environmentally considerate vehicles and services on the market.

They now have a vacancy for an experienced vehicle technician to undertake the maintenance, service and repair activities on a commercial vehicles of all makes and types to the highest standards.

Customer satisfaction is key for this role, and you will work to set manufacturers servicing and repair times, diagnosing faults and carrying out tests in a safe, environmentally friendly way.

The successful candidate will have good experience of the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles, having served a recognised apprenticeship or dealership approved training scheme. You will also hold a City & Guilds qualification or other relevant qualification with knowledge of best practice manual handling methods.

Ideally they are looking for technicians on the following shifts:

Tuesday to Friday nights inclusive from 6pm to 6am.

However they also have positions available for the following:

4 days on x 4 days off 6am to 6pm.
Permanent 2 day weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday) 6am to 6pm.
