ATTENDANCE AND PROGRESS DATA OFFICER

SCP 22-27, £20,661 - £24,174 per annum pro rata

Term time only - 36 hours x 43 weeks

Temporary to cover maternity leave until 20th July 2018 (or until the postholder returns from maternity leave).

Governors are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, a highly skilled and dedicated Attendance and Progress Data Officer.  

Attendance

The postholder will be required is to oversee attendance across the school, ensuring that students are attending and barriers to learning are addressed and reduced. You will be responsible for dealing with staff, pupils, parents and externals agencies working within a small team and the Assistant Headteacher.

Progress Data

In liaison with our senior team, you will provide assistance and support of student progress and provide efficient, effective analysis and management of the school's assessment, recording and tracking systems.

Experience required;

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within an educational setting
  • High level of confidence of working on SIMS is desirable.
  • Be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a GCSE Grade C in English and mathematics or equivalent.
  • Have the ability to build good working relationships with all members of the school community.
