Junior SQL Developer Job - GBP25 - 35,00 - Permanent - Gloucester Your new company One of Gloucester's leading employers is looking to bring on a Junior SQL Developer to join them on a permanent basis. They have been leading their market for over 100 years and are currently going through an exciting transformation project to become a more data driven organisation. This a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to learn new skills and take on challenging projects whilst being trained and developed by experienced member of the team. Your new role As a Junior SQL Developer you will work with a team to deliver appropriate data solutions to agreed standards using the full development life cycle to produce a quality product. You will work with senior developers and business analysts were required to produce technical designs and specifications. You will also identify and improve inefficiencies in current databases and ETL process. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have good SQL Development skills and experience using SSIS. It is important that you have an understanding of data warehouse methodologies and data modelling. You will also need to have a good understanding of database structures, theories and principals.
