Adecco are proud to be assisting a successful company in Cheltenham in their search for a Contact Centre Manager to join the team on a Permanent Basis.

Our client operates within the service industry and champions a passionate belief in 'sales through service'. The 16-20 strong Contact Centre team handle mostly inbound calls, which can vary from queries through to making payments. Using excellent customer service, they offer add-ons and upsells at every opportunity with the customers' benefit at the forefront of their intentions.

Please note this client operates 7 days a week; therefore the Contact Centre team practice a rota system within Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm. The Contact Centre Manager is expected to be flexible and lead by example, working weekends if it is required.

Reporting directly to the HR Director, the role will involve:
- Managing and directing the daily running of the department; you'll have bags of autonomy within the role.
- Coaching, training and motivating the team.
- Setting, implementing and monitoring individual and team performance targets. These revolve around speed, quality, sales and efficiency. You'll do this through call monitoring as appropriate.
- Assisting with implementation of new products, services or incentives.
- Recruitment for team members, closely assisting the HR Director.

The successful candidate should possess these attributes/skills:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Manager within a Contact Centre environment is essential. You could come from any industry, but you'll have experience leading a combination of customer service and sales(rather than just one).
- A passion for customer service, but ability to drive upselling/add-ons.
- Strong managerial presence; a natural commander of respect and the ability to motivate others around you.
- Natural networking abilities, as you'll need to develop strong relationships interdepartmentally.

Salary is likely to be offered between GBP25,000 - GBP32,000 dependant on experience. Please note this role is based in a central location and therefore does not have onsite parking available.
