Overview: Millgate are a VAR and in 1996, we opened our first office providing IT and communication solutions for businesses in Yorkshire. Today, we serve over 6000 customers nationwide with a group turnover of over GBP40million in 2015, which is why we are one of the top 100 providers in UK.
Due to substantial growth in the last 12 months, we are now looking to add to our 40 strong Account Management team bringing in great likeminded people who share Millgate's outlook and goals.
Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Sheffield (Just off Junction 34 M1)
Salary: Basic from GBP20,000 DOE + bonus + company benefits (private health, pension, free onsite parking, dress down Fridays)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sales from new and existing corporate and public sector accounts
Spot new potential business opportunities and close deals successfully
Achieve GP and revenue targets, along with various KPI's
Keep up-to-date with regulatory factors within the industry
To deliver companies expectations in line with budget and target
Liaise with other departments to ensure all opportunities are explored
Continually improve industry knowledge
Attend training courses that benefit the individual and company
Personal Requirements:
At least 3 years proven track record in business to business sales
At least 2 years' experience selling IT products and/or IT Services and Solutions
Experience in working with Cisco, HP, Dell/EMC, Lenovo and other major Vendors.
Proven ability to drive and develop markets and new business alongside maintaining established customers
Ability to understand territory and cultivate initiatives that will continue to develop the sales pipeline
A professional approach to hitting revenue targets
Proactive, tenacious attitude (coupled with a good sense of humour), exceptional communication skills and the confidence to present to board level
