Software Engineer is required by a leading aviation software development house based in Swindon. The Role
The main purpose of the role is to develop and debug product specifications as assigned to the developer from the company's tracker system and the software in accordance with the organization's Technical & Interface Standards.
The successful Software Engineer will be involved in checking the software for performance improvements and providing support for the testing team.
The Candidate
- Computer Science degree or an equivalent software engineering experience of min 1-2 years.
- JavaScript skills with a particular emphasis on modular JavaScript programming
- HTML, C++
- Good knowledge of BootStrap.js
Desirable Experience
- Proficient in modern WEB frameworks and libraries such as Angular.js and React.js (React preferred)
- Capable of reading and understanding legacy code written in Delphi (preferred)
- Strong understanding of how to consume RESTful APIs in front-end UIs.
- SQL (general knowledge)
- Oracle (basic administration tasks)
