We are looking for an individual with a combination of customer understanding, business development and project execution in this role.
Reporting into the EMEA project management and worldwide field services organization, you will have responsibility for all aspects of planning and delivering service transition and professional services projects to the customer whilst ensuring the long term success of strategic customers.
Candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of technology and be comfortable in defining both business and technical delivery plans. Candidates must be able to understand, plan and manage all aspects of work needed to successfully define, develop and test products and solutions, place into production and operationally transfer to the client as well as change management and service delivery projects.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in working all aspects of professional services delivery including:
Sales team engagement - pre and post sales
Requirements management
Project execution
Internal and external communication on CXO level
Escalation management
Responsibilities
Work in Presales together with the Account Manager to identify and close opportunities in both existing customers and new prospects
Define and negotiate appropriate scope
Determine scope needed to deliver solution
Reconcile and negotiate scope with sales, customer
Successfully initiate projects internally and externally
Develop and communicate project plan
Lead kickoff and launch the project
Manage a portfolio of ongoing delivery projects
Monitor a portfolio of delivery engagements
Plan and manage ongoing work
Provide status to customers, stakeholders
Manage and negotiate ongoing delivery issues
Actively drive service transition projects
Change management
Migration projects
Maintain Project Administration functions
Ensure PSA system, project databases current
Support audit, revenue recognition requirements
Contribute to Project Management and Delivery body of knowledge
Build or contribute to tools, techniques and methodology
Qualifications/Profile
BS/BA degree required, MS/MA/MBA preferred
5+ years of experience as Project Manager in a technology vendor delivering professional services
experience working with solutions involving software development, especially in Cloud Services, SaaS and hosting
Deep understanding of markets, business models and technology trends in the cloud services domain
Experience working within a remote/ geographic team
Understand end to end process used by companies to acquire, implement, deploy strategic software technology solutions
Formal Certificate in Project Management PMI/Prince2 or similar certification is an asset
Readiness to travel 50%
Very strong oral and written English communication abilities.
Ability to share excitement, motivate and enable staff externally and internally
Excellent CXO level communication skills
Delivery experience spanning from mid-market accounts to large enterprise accounts in the Telco space is preferable
