Role: SaaS Sales Account Manager

Salary: GBP35,000 ( OTE GBP50,000 )

Location: Wokingham

The SaaS Sales Account Manager will be an articulate and customer focused individual with proven experience in a telephone based sales role or business development position and a track record in achieving sales targets. Excellent telephone manner and face-to-face communications skills, along with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers are key requirements of this role.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Role will consist of using sales and marketing data sources to identify and pursue SaaS prospect customers, primarily in the SME medical device sector but also across a range of Life Sciences organisations at the SME end of the market. Main duties will include:

1) Owning new and existing leads provided through sales and marketing activities identified and SaaS opportunities. 2) Initiating conversations with customers, identifying key individuals and qualifying potential for progressing into real opportunities. 3) Articulating the SaaS value proposition clearly to customers and identifying where the biggest benefit for specific customers will be delivered. 4) Where appropriate, attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development 5) Providing pricing information to customers. 6) Pursuing opportunities to closure. 7) Providing on-going account management support for customers and identifying opportunities for repeat sales / expansion of their environments. 8) Liaison with the wider Sales and Marketing team. 9) Willingness to travel when required by opportunities or other aspects of the role.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Must have a broad range of skills which include all of the following:

1) Ability to work on own initiative with ambition and drive. 2) Must be highly self-disciplined and a self-starter. 3) Previous experience in telephone based sales, telemarketing, cold calling and following up leads. 4) Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets. 5) Organised with ability to plan schedules, set priorities and prove that target number of calls have been made. 6) Used to exceeding targets with high quality work. 7) Excellent communicator and telephone manner representing the company in a positive light at all times. 8) Professional with integrity and a strong work ethic. 9) Diligence in data gathering and data entry.
