Mechanical Contracts Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a reputable company based in Gloucester. The successful candidate must have experience in estimating, and will be a self-motivated and forward-thinking individual.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate well with clients and customers and have a professional manner when representing the company
• To estimate Commercial and Domestic contracts in both Plumbing and Heating along with any other roles that may be asked of them.
• Read and understand construction drawings & specifications, be conversant with pricing D&B projects and pass this information on to others.
• The Contracts Manager/Estimator will have primary responsibility for estimating projects up to a value of GBP1 million
• To ensure operational performance, in terms of procuring quotations and estimating to a given timescale.

Required experience:

• Mechanical estimating/surveying
• Must have knowledge/experience in using a PC and software tailored to our business and must be able to work well with others within an office environment.

Salary: Between GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 dependent on candidate and experience.

This is a fulltime, permanent position.
