Our clients are a quality commercial vehicle franchised dealer who are seeking a multiskilled parts person.

Hours of work will be 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours with 1 hour for lunch and further breaks throughout the day. Alternate Saturday mornings 07:00 to 12:00 or 08:00 to 13:00

This is a pivitol role within the dealership that requires someone who enjoys a physical role and who can demonstrate attention to detail.

PARTS SALES ADVISOR

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Key purpose of job, dealing with telephone trade sales, retail sales, and workshop sale, receiving stock into parts department, previous Mercedes Benz franchise preferred but not essential as training with product will be supplied knowledge of Kerridge systems advantageous. Driving Licence preferred.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Responsible to: Parts Manager
Direct supervisor of: None
Horizontal relationship with: Parts Sales/Delivery staff.
Regular liaison with: Parts Manager/Service Reception
Hours of work: Per your contract of employment and as required to carry out your job function successfully.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 To receive all enquiries for parts, over the workshop/retail counters or by phone, ensuring that all orders are promptly and accurately despatched.
2 To receive/issue and return all parts in line with company and manufactures procedures.
3 To ensure that where possible non-stocked parts are obtained from group stocks, in preference to the manufacturer/outside suppliers.
4 To ensure that all customers whether internal or external are kept fully informed as to the progress with back orders etc.
5 To ensure that all invoices/credit notes produced are accurate, with order numbers recorded where required.
6 To ensure that all monies received or refunded are dealt with inline with company policy.
7 To take part in all stock checks.
8 To act as relief for the Parts Delivery Driver. i.e. holiday cover etc. Or to cover an emergency delivery.
9 To ensure that your working environment is kept tidy and clean at all times.
10 To wear corporate clothing and / or a name badge, if required.
11 To attend all internal or external training courses as may be required by the company or manufacturer.
12 At all times to promote the best interest of the company, when dealing with colleagues, customers or the manufacturer
