Liability Claims Handler - Stoke on Trent - Salary up to 25k
Working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 8 -6
Essential requirements would be Quantum experience of Personal Injury and Negotiation of Liability Cases (ie car accidents etc)
To provide a fast and efficient and accurate claims handling service to the highest of standards for various insurers. You will be providing support to policy holders, clients and brokers to ensure that they receive exceptional customer care and support while dealing with claims and enquiries.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Be capable of investigating liability and making decisions based on the facts of the claim
• Monitoring the progress of a claim
• Be able to identify cases where we have reasons to consider further investigation relating to fraud or causation
• Reviewing quantum of third party damages (Inc General/Special/TP Property)
• Be capable of validating claims against policy information to ensure Indemnity verified
• Applying accurate reserves based on the facts presented
• Maintaining a claims allocation
• Managing diary and post allocations
Skills & Experience
• Must have claims experience preferably EL/PL
• Must be computer literate
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to influence and manage relationships with key stakeholders and your peer group, remaining positive and enthusiastic when dealing with difficult and challenging situations
• Have a pro-active approach to solve people and customer problems and to remain focused on priorities for the team as a whole when faced with conflicting demands
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication
