About the role

Our Consulting practice is focussed on working in partnership with clients to deliver sustainable business change. We work with our clients to develop new ways of working; from end to end supply chain strategies to optimisation of discrete areas of the supply chain.
We are seeking to recruit a number of Procurement professionals to join an already successful team to help deliver transformational projects around the Procurement agenda. Excellent opportunities exist at various levels for individuals who are genuinely interested in expanding their horizons and wish to work in a challenging and leading edge environment.

Our Procurement Transformation competency within the Operations practice is focussed on working in partnership with clients to deliver real business transformation across a number of industry sectors.
We are specifically looking for those with experience across the government/local authority or health sectors

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Government, Local authority or Health sector industry experience is required for this role. Manufacturing or FMCG experience will also be considered
  • Previous Consulting /professional services advisory experience is preferred
  • Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record in some or all of the following:
  1. Development of procurement vision and strategy
  2. Strategic Sourcing
  3. Delivering a procurement improvement programme with successful outcomes
  4. Purchase to pay process
  5. eAuctions
  6. Supplier Management and supplier risk management
  7. Low carbon procurement/sustainable procurement
  8. Collaborative procurement
  9. Contract tendering and contract management
  10. Delivery of e-procurement solutions
  11. Procurement policy and procedures development
  12. Transition management from the previous to the new
  13. Business case development
  14. Procurement benefit realisation management
  15. Tax optimised procurement structures.

As well as technical knowledge and experience, you must be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a team environment .
