Supportive Living Support Worker - Autism

A well established large organization is recruiting for Support Workers for their Supportive Living Service in Knowle, Bristol. You will mainly be working with a Gentleman who has learning disabilities, Autism, anxiety and mild challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- He volunteers 3 days a week at a community farm and attends cycling, swimming, blowing etc
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them on the bank, appointments, health visits and in the community
- No personal care

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)

Contract / Terms:
- Salary including sleepins is £17,283.50 per annum = £8.05 an hour (£15,697.50)
- Must do atleast 1 sleep-in per week paid at £30.50 per sleep = £1,586 per annum
- We have full (37.5 hours a week) or part time contracts available, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Shifts patterns will vary from earlies, lates and evening. 1 of the shifts will be 4pm - 11pm (sleep) - 7am.
