Leading Independent Nursing Agency expands into Newcastle Upon Tyne

A leading independent nursing agency is expanding into Newcastle upon Tyne and is searching for nurses and healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering the best possible standard of care.

First established in Edinburgh during 2003, Robinson Medical Recruitment (RMR) is already well established in Scotland.

Specialising in the provision of temporary and permanent staffing solutions across the Healthcare sector, RMR is now opening an office in Newcastle upon Tyne to serve the North East region. It will also be continuing its expansion into other regions of the UK in the future.

RMR’s ethos is “quality without compromise” and the team pride themselves on offering a tailored solution to each individual client – along with unparalleled levels of customer service.

Recruiting for roles in the NHS, private hospitals and care homes, RMR has vacancies for both qualified and unqualified candidates.

Leading the RMR team in Newcastle is Robert J Vinton (FIRP, CertRP), who can call upon 15 years’ experience gained with major players in the industry.

Robert says: “I was approached by many organisations before joining RMR, but they stood out as a company that mirrored my personal values of professionalism and integrity. I truly believe in ‘old school’ recruitment and providing a valued service to both candidates and clients alike.

“The recruitment element is the most important part of any successful business and even more so within the care field as the quality of staff you recruit has a massive impact on the standard and quality of the outcomes needed to offer the best support to service users and clients.

“As an organisation, we are very excited to have expanded into Newcastle which was the obvious choice for opening our first office in England due to its thriving business community. Being a Geordie born and bred I am proud to bring our high quality services to the folk of the North East region.

The hunt is on for a Care Co-ordinator

One role currently being recruited for is the Care Co-ordinator role. This is a full-time role with an £18K – 24K salary and on call benefits.

The successful candidate will be working on a temp desk to supply RMR’s clients with fully trained, qualified staff and hold responsibility for matching staff and clients together.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the social care sector and be an excellent communicator - both written and verbal. Be a team player, tenacious and motivated with the ability to think outside the box and be hungry for success.

As part of the role, the chosen applicant will be required to be part of on-call rota - paid at £50 per night and £200 for the weekend - and can expect to be on call at least one weekend in eight.
