An established HVAC company based on the outskirts of Leeds are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Service Manager to lead their growing team of engineers and help to expand the service department. The ideal candidate would come from an engineering background and have extensive knowledge of all HVAC systems. The role includes, managing a team of engineers, managing maintenance contracts, dealing with call outs and remedial works, managing small installations and developing and expanding the department as a whole. We are looking for someone with drive and ambition, who is looking for a new challenge and who has the ability to grow and develop their own department and team of engineers. The role and responsibilities for the HVAC Service Manager position include: - Managing the day to day operation of the Service Department and a team of engineers - Process call outs and new work requests - Manage maintenance contracts PPM schedules - Producing quotations and procurement of materials - Producing and maintaining customer equipment logs and FGAS logs - Manage installations - Develop and grow the Service Department - Ensure financial targets are achieved Key attributes for the HVAC Service Manager position include: - Preferably from a mechanical/technical background - Experience in managing a team - Extensive knowledge of all HVAC systems - Good attention to detail - Good customer relations skills The benefits of the HVAC Service Manager position include: - Permanent, full-time position in a highly successful growing company - Competitive Salary - Bonus scheme - 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and 1+ for every completed year of service after the first year, up to a maximum of 12 - Company pension scheme - Private healthcare
