An opportunity has now arisen for a Floor Layer to join us in Southwark.

Within this role, you will provide a comprehensive floor laying service to public, commercial, and domestic premises in accordance with the relevant Safety Regulations and departmental procedures, during the hours of 08.00hrs – 17.00hrs Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for a combination of general works including, preparing and laying polysafe flooring, laying floor tiles, screeding, carpentry etc; and will carry out programmed and maintenance work within domestic and commercial premises.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have appropriate experience working within the Building Construction/Maintenance Industry and will be qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

With the ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology and safety procedures, you will also have the ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings.

In addition, you will have the ability to trace, diagnose and rectify faults and will be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

 

Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence
