Planned Maintenance Manager

The Yolk Engineering & Technical team are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in the South West area. Due to continued expansion and growth, there is an opportunity for you to join as the Planned Maintenance Manager. This role will give you the opportunity to ensure manufacturing operations are consistently on target and running efficiently through the proactive approach to the maintenance schedule. In the role of Planned Maintenance Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure Systems are fully utilised and are being used productively
• Provide training and development
• Monitor collected data to ensure operations are run smooth and identify any trends
• Work with the Stores department ensuring stock levels remaining maintained
• Work closely with engineering managers to optimise plant efficiency through engineering and maintenance
• Promote LEAN manufacturing practices

The successful candidate will have specific experience which include:

• Time served Mechanical apprenticeship or qualified to a degree level in a similar discipline
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of a CMMS database is essential
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience
• Experience of Food or FMCG manufacturing would be to your advantage
