With opportunities all across Essex, we are specifically looking for a Maths Trainee Teacher to join the Premier Pathways Teacher Training Programme and complete their PGCE within a Chelmsford based school.

About the Premier Pathways PGCE Programme:

***Trainees progress from a Teaching Assistant to Newly Qualified Teacher in two years
***Trainees are based predominantly in one-school setting for the duration of the programme
***3 week placement in an alternative school in the second year
***University seminars completed outside of term-time so you do not miss out on valuable classroom experience
***Professional Mentors assigned to you to support and guide you throughout the programme

Trainee Maths Teacher Specification

You will be a capable Maths graduate who has an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree. Ideally, you will already have spent time in a role where you worked closely with children. The Headteachers we are working alongside want to recruit Maths graduates with the confidence and skills to establish new relationships with people of all levels both quickly and effectively. It is essential that you have a clear determination and resilience to pursue a career in teaching.
