Our client a financial services company based in Cardiff, urgently require a Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance to join their compliance team on a permanent basis.
They require a candidate with previous experience of regulatory compliance, risk management or audit within financial services.
Responsibilities of Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance will include:
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Providing advisory support and assurance services to senior management and assist with key strategic projects and regulatory change.
- Maintaining up-to date of internal business products and processes.
- Managing the compliance assessment process and implement ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
- Maintain the compliance monitoring, testing and report program to provide senior management with objective and timely assessments of compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Successful Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance will have:
- Previous experience of regulatory compliance, risk management or audit within financial services industry.
- Management and supervisory experience.
- Degree Educated.
- Professional compliance certification.
- Previous experience with compliance management systems, compliance management framework development.
- Six Sigma/ Process Excellence, Project Management experience is preferred although not essential
