The L.S. Starrett Company is a global, internationally renowned organisation with a worldwide reputation in the manufacture of high quality precision measuring instruments, hand tools, bandsaws and holesaws.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly driven Technical Sales Representative to develop and increase sales of the Starrett range to engineering distributors and industrial end-users throughout the above areas.

We pride ourselves on our ‘personal touch’ in building and maintaining excellent customer relations, therefore as well as possessing drive and motivation you will also be articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

You will already have a successful track record in sales and will be comfortable working towards targets. As you will also provide an advisory service to end users a background in engineering, whilst not essential, will be an advantage.

Working from home, you should be suitably positioned to cover the key areas. Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement for regular travel therefore a valid UK/EU driving licence is essential.  The company’s UK production facility is based in Jedburgh, Scotland where there will be occasional visits required.
