JOB TITLE: HGV Class 1 Driver
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive
WORKING HOURS: Various - Roaming, 4 on 4 off Roaming and Day/Night shifts
THE COMPANY: Our client is one of Europe's largest vehicle remarketing company. They are now looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers in their Oxford depot.
THE ROLE: For the role of the HGV Class 1 Driver you will be transporting cars from the depot to locations throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Class 1 Driver role to include:-
Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure prior to leaving depot to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, and the load is safe and secure.
Comply with all transport legislation including working time regulations and tachograph law
To remain fully customer focused
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of HGV Class 1 Driver you will be a reliable and flexible team player. You will have excellent communication skills and be flexible with your working hours. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Oxford.
Key experience essential for the role of HGV Class 1 Driver:-
Class 1 HGV licence
6 months experience within the last 5 years
CPC card is essential
