Registered Nurse Days and Nights

I have an opportunity for Registered Nurses for a registered nursing home which provides short term and long-term care to residents who may be recovering from an illness and require ongoing nursing care. This is a large home that requires nurses for both days and night shifts. You will be required to provide care and support for patients living with dementia.

You will need to be nurse qualified with a valid NMC pin in order to apply for this role.

Duties:
• Ensure that resident's' Care Plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
• Assess all aspects of resident's care needs, and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
• Assess social and health care needs of new residents, and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other residents.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure that each resident within the Home has an individualised Care Plan. Client Care Plans to be reviewed on a bi-annual basis, or more frequently as and when required, in accordance with NMC guidelines and Company policy.
• Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Home Manager.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company's procedure and NMC guidelines.

Experience:
• Nurse qualified with a valid NMC pin
• Fulfil professional and legal responsibilities with respect to the safe storage handling and administration of medicines;
• Awareness of Health and Safety, ensuring the safety of our services users and colleagues.

Salary
Circa GBP29,016 (GBP15.50 per hour based on 36 hours per week) Days and nights required
