Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join the team in Trafford Park, working 37.5 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday.

Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:

 

  • Answer, log and resolve all inbound enquiries to the depot in a timely and professional manner.
  • Initiate, maintain and review all customer data on the appropriate systems ensuring customer requests are communicated effectively within the depot.
  • Promote national and local Viridor services to new and existing customers.
  • Submit quotations and draw up contracts using pre-defined depot pricing matrix.
  • Log all inbound enquiries/complaints/queries and feedback regularly to relevant operational staff.
  • Communicate the resolution of all enquiries/complaints/queries to the customer.
  • Maintain and review a detailed record of all liaison, complaints and enquiries with customer. Introduce Viridor services to prospective and existing customers and upsell services.
  • Assist in the maintenance of leads and opportunities log for sales team.
  • Win additional business by calling prospects and existing customers via marketing and telesales campaigns.
  • Set up customer accounts on the system and ensure customer receives all relevant documentation as part of ‘welcome pack’.
  • Maintain and review current customer database and sales reports.
  • Assist in the completion of management reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Be conversant with legislation as it applies to the company’s activities.
  • General administrative duties as required.

 

The ideal Customer Service Advisor will have:

 

  • Proven knowledge of customer service environment and computer software applications.
  • Good written, verbal/telephone and numerate skills.
  • Good commercial skills and negotiator.
  • Well organised, logical and creative thinker.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to build long lasting relationships with customers via telephone.
  • Ability to produce basic reports and management data as required.
  • Ability to juggle constantly changing priorities.
  • Good track record of customer services or related activities within a multi-site, high speed environment.
  • Computing and Maths skills.
