Job Elements
·Ensure all Export and Distributor Global Sales orders are processed in a timely manner.
·Ensure all Order Management activities are carried out in line with internal and customer requirements.
·Ensure relationship with Distribution Centres is effectively maintained and developed to support the business.
·Lead continuous improvement projects to increase efficiencies of both internal and external customer service processes.
·Support Customer Relationship Manager to increase customer service with the aim to grow customer sales.
·Manage the training and development of the Customer Service & Distribution Executives.
·Carry out and maintain Master Data changes for Export customers to ensure compliant data and train out where necessary.
·Create and implement Global Customer Service Standard Operating Procedures where applicable and provide training on relevant documents.
·Provide support to ensure all International and local Customs regulations are met.
·React, review and support in Internal and External audits on behalf of Global Customer Service.
·Partake in regular calls with the Distribution Centre to review Export and European orders to ensure optimised shipping process, liaising with Global Teams and carrying out necessary countermeasures.
·Partake in bi-weekly calls with the Distribution Centres to review capacity/demand and impact assessment to any demand changes.
·Approval of Freight invoices for ad-hoc shipments.
The ideal candidate will have:
·Educated to degree level or can demonstrate 4 years relevant experience in a similar role dealing with export documentation and regulatory compliance.
·Continuous improvement orientated – lean manufacturing or green belt accreditation preferable
·Computer literate with experience of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
·Problem solving and customer focussed individual with strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
·Strategic thinker with an analytical mind set.
·Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
·Team player who can work cross functionally.
·Good influencing and interpersonal skills.
