Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Account Manager to join the team in London, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.


What will I be responsible for?

 

  • Developing and sustaining the relationship of nominated and targeted account/s on a regional basis.
  • Achieving targeted growth and retention in the areas set by the business.
  • Driving Viridor full product portfolio to all nominated account/s.
  • Proactivity in learning technology innovation that could enhance relationships and develop further revenue.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records through the use of SAP CRM, correct diary management and monthly reports.
  • Actively promoting the company brands, products and service to nominated customers.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with each company department.
  • Working closely with the bid team to deliver detailed bids/quotations.
  • Working closely with operations team to ensure the co-ordination of projects, customer delivery and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Maintaining relationships with the customers post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals.
  • Taking ownership of the customer and their issues.
  • Maintaining knowledge of products and services and industry developments.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic account and opportunity plans.

 

The ideal Account Manager will have:

You will ideally have proven experience within an account managerial position and be well versed in relationship building and customer retention. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing and enhancing customer relationships and revenue. You will also possess:

 

  • Excellent level of commercial expertise.
  • Ability to complete tenders.
  • Awareness of key end users their challenges and strategies.
  • Knowledge of competitor activity.
  • Numerate and Literate with the ability to produce reports and customer data as required.
  • Resilient, Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently at a desired level.

 

In return for your hard work as an Account Manager, we can offer a salary of £28,000 - £36,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, pension scheme and plenty of opportunity for personal development working within in a team-orientated and collaborative environment, for a company that strives to be environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
