Salary: £39,360 - £43,080 per annum

Following the temporary promotion of the current post holder to become a Team Leader they are looking to fill this key senior post, on a temporary basis.

Major growth proposals close to Norwich, historic towns and villages and beautiful countryside all make up their landscape. They are looking for a Senior Planning Officer to work initially in their major development team. You will be meeting the challenges this brings and making sure our client deliver their vision around development management. This post will be helping to shape the future of South Norfolk through the implementation of their adopted and emerging planning policies and growth proposals.

You will be dealing with a varied and complex mix of planning applications and carrying out line management duties with more junior staff within the team. Your role will be vital to securing the vision of the Local Plan, which seeks to secure new homes and jobs across the area for the next 15 years.
