Our client has an exciting opportunity for a full time HR Assistant to join the team based in Peterborough. You will be on permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

Our client is a well-established, highly regarded provider of outsourced HR department services to their well-known client base. The business provides HR services across a range of sectors and its UK client base includes businesses based in London and international locations, including the USA, Europe and the Middle East. Nearer to home, clients include some very well-known local employers with up to 3000 staff.

The business is expanding rapidly and to support this growth they are looking for a permanent HR Assistant to join their central support team in Peterborough due to the promotion of one of their existing HR Assistants. This is a very different role, (which will be explained at the interview!) and which will suit either an existing HR administrator or an individual with a professional administrative background who is looking to transfer their administrative skills into an HR environment. What’s really important to our client, is someone who holds the delivery of a high quality, customer orientated service as a core personal value.

No two days are the same, so whilst ensuring the HR compliance needs are being met, (including preparing and issuing job offers, undertaking pre-employment checks and interfacing with payroll), as HR Assistant you will also get involved with posting jobs on recruitment sites and providing general HR administrative support.

When you become our HR Assistant it will be a given that you have proven administrative skills and have excellent personal organisation, strong IT literacy and the personal attributes to deliver a friendly, informal but professional service to clients and their employees. Attention to detail/administrative accuracy in this kind of role are of course critical.
