PR Account Director

This is an opening for a PR Account Director to join one of the most highly regarded and reputable PR consultancies in the North West which will, without question, provide your career with an incredible opportunity to grow and develop.

The role

This is a generalist role where you will be working with high profile clients across the business to business, corporate sector and financial sector, where you will support the delivery of client programmes and develop high-quality content, as well as delivering social media campaigns, which you will also be responsible for reporting and monitoring. On a day to day basis you will work closely with the agency leadership team to deliver the latest thinking in PR across multiple channels and are expected to have good strategic planning experience. You will grow and maintain great contacts with the media, spanning press, TV, radio and online journalists for each of your client's sectors and proactively seek out viable opportunities. You will also write for a range of media and will head up a team of full of Account Executives and Managers and you will report directly to the Senior Account Director.

What we're looking for

For this particular higher level role we are looking for candidates that are confident in handling national and trade media, digitally savvy, keen to explore new tools and technologies and are adept in producing content for a wide-range of channels - from blogs, social media posts and infographics to thought leadership pieces and press releases. We need someone who has more than 5 years PR agency experience and who has a track record of delivering successful creative campaigns for major companies and brands.
