Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Claimant Paralegal to join AXA's expanding in-house Legal Services Unit. The role will involve managing your own portfolio of motor insurance claims and will give invaluable experience into both litigation and motor liability whilst working for a leading global insurance company.

AXA Legal Services are the in house legal department who are instructed to act on behalf of AXA and Swiftcover insurance policy holders. The Claimant team pursues claims to recover AXA and our customers' losses, whereas the Defendant team defends claims made against AXA or our customers.




What you will be doing

  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and scheduled tasks
  • Preparing statements of case
  • Issuing proceedings in the County Court.
  • Proactivley dealing with each case to ensure a successful compromise
  • Preparing for trial
  • Considering effective methods of enforcement.

What you will need


  • Some litigation or motor insurance claims expereince would be preferred.

    Demonstrate good working knowledge of the Civil Litigation and Civil Procedure Rules.

  • Demonstrate good working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act.

  • Ability to organise, control and manage a portfolio of cases.

  • Minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent or NVQ in a law/business related subject.
