Maintenance Technician

£12.40 p/h

Location: Saint-Gobain Tygaflor, Rochdale

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who has a good grounding with manufacturing processes and equipment to join our site at Rochdale.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to use their skills and experience in a supportive and forward-thinking environment and take the next step in their career.

You will have an active role in EHS for the site, no prior experience is required as full training will be provided but experience with lock out tag out permits to work would be desirable.

You will be supporting the site to ensure that operational efficiences are maintained, to support all relevant site projects within area of expertise and to create, support and carry out TPM including;

• 5S
• Automomous maintenance
• Planned maintenance
• Quality maintenance
• Focused improvement
• Safety, health and environment

The desired candidate will hold either of the following qualifications:

• City and Guilds / HND in an engineering discipline (or equivalent)
