External Reporting Accountant - day rate

We are currently looking for an External Reporting accountant to join a major financial services business based in Halifax. The team is responsible for consolidation and reporting of the businesses external financial results which are getting published and released to the markets.

External Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:

- Assist the business with financial reporting activities
- Review various systems, general ledgers and consolidation
- Support Testing of the new Reporting solution in the division and across the business.
- Finance change and efficiency improvements
- Lead the business process documentation

External Reporting Accountant Skills:

- Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Good knowledge across a number of financial reporting, regulatory reporting and financial control
- Experience of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ideally experience of working within the financial services sector
- Strong analytical background
